with Roger Rippy
Bhakti Yoga Immersion

On Saturday, October 24 9AM-5PM join Roger Rippy in Bhakti Yoga Immersion a deepening journey into this unique and ancient form of yoga. Bhakti Yoga is known as the yoga of devotion. It is considered one of simplest and most accessible forms of yoga.

Unlike hatha yoga, which may manifest as asana, pranayama, and kriya (and other actions), bhakti yoga manifests primarily in bhajana (collective chanting and kirtan) and seva (selfless service). Ultimately, the aim is to see and serve everyone as a manifestation of the divine, or as Ram Dass said “God in drag.”

Roger is inviting you to share with him this very personal practice and tradition that has touched his heart in the most tender way.

What is bhakti yoga?

How is it relevant to my (and my students’) modern life?

Why do we chant?

What is kirtan?

What does seva (selfless service) look life in my life? And how do I cultivate it?

Who are all these gods and goddesses, and can I reconcile chanting with my own faith?

How to integrate bhakti into your teaching?

we’ll learn and practice lots of chants that will open your heart.

Rusty Wells

What Roger’s Bhakti Yoga teacher, Rusty, says is: chant before you can’t and make a joyful sound. I’ve recruited some incredible people deeply immersed in Bhakti Yoga to help us do that.

First is Anish Pillai from Conscious Houston, who has spent his whole life in the Bhakti yoga lineage of Srila Prabhupada and as part of the ISKON of Houston temple in Houston. He will talk about what bhakti yoga means to him and living the tradition in the modern world, also chanting and singing with us.

Also joining us will be Kristin and Randall Brooks from The Bhakti House Band (www.bhaktihouseband.com), Grammy-nominated musicians whose most recent album, Roots to Revolution, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts and #5 on the iTunes charts. Kristen and Randall have traveled all over the world sharing the music and sounds and practice of nada bhakti yoga (the yoga of sound).

how to open a yoga studio

“I sought Albina Rippy’s help because she is a visionary in the yoga industry.  With her extensive experience owning yoga 7 studios, she knew the industry, the market and the clientele I was seeking. A few months after I opened my studio, I realized quite quickly there was no one better to help make my studio a success than Albina.

With her brilliance, she helped me make my studio profitable within the first month of her coaching me. I would have never known the market needs, goals, and KPI’s to target without her expertise! Mrs. Rippy is worth every dollar, she knows the business and means business. I am forever grateful for her taking on me as a success student. We started with 20 members and have grown to +120 in the first 5 months! Thank you Albina, YOU ROCK!  Thank you for your yoga business coaching”

-Christine G.

“I started working with Albina in hopes to get some fresh ideas on how to bring in new clients and create a bigger community of athletes working towards similar goals. Albina helped me create a challenge to bring in more clients and build up our community before summer started. She gave me a game plan and helped execute on the timelines. As a studio owner, always in charge, it was nice to have direction from someone else who has been through what I’m going through in growing a community and who has the experience and expertise to make it happen. I really enjoyed getting a different outlook from her, and she made some really positive changes to our business to drive in new clients.”

“Last year my studio was struggling and I truly thought I would have to close my doors. Through Albina’s guidance and advice I was able to pull my studio out of the spiral of decline it was in. She advised me on pricing and dynamic marketing over the Thanksgiving and New Year which even now, as I hit the summer months, will hold me over. She is a no nonsense motivator who will inspire you and direct you to success”.

“When I was on overwhelm and disheartened about my yoga business and the myriad challenges it put in front of me, Albina reached out and took my hand. Together we’ve planned a future full of success and distinction. I don’t feel overwhelmed, I feel powerful and ready. Even though we’re still implementing, she has shown me areas to improve my business and grow. After working with her in the Rock Star Yoga Business Course, I know I can move my studio, Tribal Tulum, to the next level. We start implementing next month so watch out for us!!”
