Andalusia Yoga Retreat 2027: Forrest Yoga, Meditation & Manifestation in Southern Spain

Sometimes we don’t need another vacation.

We need space.

Space to step away from the noise, reconnect with our bodies, listen to ourselves again and ask a bigger question:

What do I want the next chapter of my life to look and feel like?

From May 30–June 4, 2027, Roger and I will be leading Andalusian Dreams, an intimate yoga, meditation and manifestation retreat in Southern Spain designed around exactly that question.

Set at Rancho Los Lobos near Jimena de la Frontera in Andalusia, our days will weave together Forrest Yoga, meditation, manifestation coaching, hiking, nature, beautiful food, meaningful conversation and plenty of unstructured time to simply be.

For those searching for a yoga retreat in Spain in 2027, a meditation retreat in Andalusia, a manifestation retreat in Europe, or an experience that combines yoga and hiking in Southern Spain, Andalusian Dreams offers something deeper than a traditional wellness vacation.

It is an invitation to reconnect with yourself.

Why Andalusia?

There is something about Southern Spain that naturally asks you to slow down.

Our home for the retreat, Rancho Los Lobos, sits on the edge of Los Alcornocales Natural Park near the historic white village of Jimena de la Frontera.

Here, ancient cork oak forests stretch across the rolling Andalusian landscape. There are gardens, animals, open skies and, perhaps most importantly, quiet.

There is intentionally no Wi-Fi at the retreat center.

Instead of waking up and immediately reaching for your phone, imagine waking to the stillness of the Spanish countryside.

You might begin your morning with meditation and Forrest Yoga in an open-air shala, share a beautiful brunch around a long table, hike through ancient cork forests, swim, journal, nap beneath a tree or spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing.

That spaciousness is part of the practice.

Forrest Yoga: Coming Home to Your Body

Yoga has been part of my life for decades.

I co-founded and grew YogaOne Studios in Houston together with my husband Roger, eventually operating seven yoga studios and serving more than 60,000 students. We later owned Blue Sky Retreat Center in Taos, New Mexico, and today I serve as a Forrest Yoga Guardian and Mentor Teacher, teaching yoga, meditation and transformational practices in Austin, Houston and beyond.

Forrest Yoga remains one of the practices closest to my heart because it asks us to do more than perform poses.

It asks us to feel.

During our Andalusia retreat, our yoga practices will be intelligent, soulful and rooted in Forrest Yoga principles of breath, strength, awareness and connection.

You do not need to be an advanced yogi to participate.

You simply need to be willing to show up, breathe and listen to your body.

Meditation as a Practice of Possibility

My meditation practice has become one of the most transformative forces in my own life.

At this retreat, meditation won’t simply be about trying to quiet your mind.

We will explore meditation as a practice for presence, consciousness, gratitude, visioning and intentional creation.

Some meditations will be grounding and simple.

Others will invite us into deeper questions:

What am I ready to release?

What am I ready to receive?

What would I create if I stopped limiting what I believed was possible?

And perhaps most importantly:

Who am I becoming?

Manifestation Meets Intentional Action

I have always been fascinated by manifestation.

But I don’t believe manifestation means sitting on a meditation cushion and waiting for the Universe to deliver your wish list.

To me, manifestation is about becoming aligned with the life you want to experience and then being willing to participate in creating it.

Through guided meditation, journaling, coaching exercises and conversations, we’ll explore what you are calling into your life and what may need to shift internally and externally to make room for it.

Maybe that is a new relationship.

A different career.

A business.

More freedom.

More creativity.

A move.

A deeper spiritual life.

Or perhaps you don’t know yet.

Sometimes clarity appears only after we create enough quiet to hear it.

A Yoga and Hiking Retreat in the Wild Beauty of Andalusia

One of the things I love most about this retreat is that our practice doesn’t stop when we roll up our yoga mats.

Each day we’ll venture into the surrounding landscape of Los Alcornocales Natural Park, home to one of the great cork oak forests of Southern Spain.

We’ll hike through forests and rolling hills and explore the landscape around Jimena de la Frontera.

There is something powerful about walking when you are contemplating your life.

Your body moves.

Your mind settles.

Ideas rearrange themselves.

Answers sometimes appear without being forced.

We’ll also take a group trip to Tarifa, on Spain’s southern coast, where the Mediterranean and Atlantic worlds meet.

Slow Food, Long Tables and Real Connection

Transformation doesn’t always happen during a workshop.

Sometimes it happens over dinner.

Our meals at Rancho Los Lobos will be prepared by chef and owner Karl, whose cooking celebrates regional ingredients with an emphasis on organic, vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Imagine lingering around a long table after dinner as the Andalusian light changes, talking about life with people who may have been strangers only a few days earlier.

Those moments are every bit as important to me as the yoga and meditation.

Community is part of the retreat.

Who Is This Andalusia Retreat For?

You don’t need to be a serious yogi or experienced meditator.

This experience may be for you if you love travel, beauty and culture; enjoy yoga, hiking and being active; crave deeper conversations and meaningful community; are curious about meditation or manifestation; feel yourself entering a new chapter of life; or simply know that you need space away from your normal routine.

And yes, you can absolutely come alone.

Many people arrive at retreats knowing no one and leave with friendships that continue long after everyone flies home.

All activities are optional, including yoga.

An International Retreat Led From Austin With Roots in Houston

Although Roger and I now live and teach in Austin, Texas, Houston will always be an important part of our yoga story.

It was there that my husband Roger and I built YogaOne Studios, a community of 7 studios, and where I spent years teaching, building community and discovering just how transformational these practices can become when they extend beyond the yoga mat.

Today my work brings together those different chapters of my life.

I am a Forrest Yoga Guardian and Mentor Teacher, meditation teacher, manifestation and success coach, entrepreneur and international retreat leader.

My retreats combine the practices I have spent decades exploring: movement, meditation, personal growth, manifestation, community, adventure and intentional living.

And Roger will join me in Andalusia, bringing his own perspective as a longtime yoga teacher and my partner in life, family, business and practice.
